Creative Flow FOR INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS

Are you a creative practitioner who is struggling to find ideas for your work? Are you in the middle of a creative project and feel stuck?  Are you and your business partners or employees too busy to think creatively?

Our Creative Flow program is a 6 week intensive program for creative practitioners and for those wanting to get in closer touch with the creative inspiration and energy.  It sets practical exercises to nurture the brain’s creative pathways, build mindful awareness and create space for the unconscious to flow.  Combined with these practical tasks is an examination of the relationship the client has with their creative self, core beliefs and the role of the creative archetype, past and present working patterns, fear, creative stagnation, and  the role of the inner critic, amongst other individual issues.

Creative Flow is an intense and immensely rewarding experience which gives clients the opportunity for insight into their artistic practice, a deepening engagement with their creative source and the skills to maintain the flow between process and inspiration.

Creative Flow can be experienced more than once. It can even become an annual part of your creative and self development.  Each engagement with the program will allow you to delve deeper into the well of your own creativity and inspiration and understand and better the way you use that power to inform your work and your life.

Creative Flow for Individuals is conducted over six x 2 hour sessions one on one.  Fees are $150 per session or $695 for the 6 session package if paid in advance.

Creative Flow for Groups can be delivered in an intense 2 day workshop or over an extended period of time, depending on the requirements.  A minimum of 6 participants are required to take part. Creative Flow for Groups is tailored for organisations, businesses or like-minded groups of individuals and fees are discussed with clients on that basis.

Mindful Yoga AND TEACHER MENTORING

Mindful Yoga brings together the different yet complementary benefits of Hatha Yoga and Meditation.

The practice of Hatha Yoga is well recognised as a way to enable us to reconnect with the beauty and grace of the body and ultimately make friends with ourselves. We perform the movements and postures while carefully focusing the mind and becoming intimately aware of our breathing and the way it moves us.

The body is changing moment by moment, day by day, and year by year as we move through the stages of our lives.  Mindful Yoga trains us to remain present for all the moments of our lives, every breath, whether the experiences are pleasant or unpleasant or neutral.  By cultivating a regular yoga practice we learn to manage life’s daily challenges, beginning with learning to recognize old ingrained postural habits that may be inhibiting our greatest physical ease, then systematically letting go of them, reorganizing, rebuilding and ultimately rejuvenating the bodymind system.

To truly embody these ideas and create meaningful change our experience must be integrated not just in the physical self but also in the mind. Mindful Yoga is an experiential process that develops self awareness and discernment.  Mindful Yoga allows us to experience the relationship between emotions, thoughts and sensations in the body.  Throughout a practice we observe the arising and passing of our internal states like clouds or weather patterns moving through the vast spaciousness of awareness, and our reactions to these internal events as they are occurring in the moment.

Today’s scientific world recognises mind and body as interrelated components of the whole system and the breath as the bridge between them.  We all carry an innate intelligence known as “proprioception” that is constantly providing us with fresh information to help us manage change in our lives and in our bodies and our breath is the most tangible way to access this.  The breath is an ever present anchor for our attention while the accompanying sensations of renewal and expansion can be powerfully felt in both body and mind.

Sal Flynn offers private Mindful Yoga sessions for individuals who have an interest in developing a home practice and well as those seeking to deepen their experience of attending yoga classes.

Sal also provides mentoring and supervision for yoga teachers.
